"Don't say that." Inigo shakes his head, taking a step forward so he's able to reach out and put his hand on Taiki's shoulder. "You're a great help just being you. And being here. It reminds me that I can't just go out in a blaze of glory like some big hero out there, because I'd feel really bad if I made you cry."

Or, you know, at the very least feel bad. Inigo doesn't expect anyone to actually cry if he dies. Those expectations would probably be a bit too high.

"But of course I can stick near him. Do you think he might be able to use some help watching his back, or is he great enough of a warrior that I'd only be a bother?"
