The simple reply doesn't bother Tidus, accepting it with a smile, the name repeated in acknowledgement. With the incline of the other guy's head, Tidus gives a small nod in turn and starts walking himself. Eyes drawn to the coastline and out to the sea beyond.
"Could be. Don't the villagers say fire's effective? So it could be the same deal...or they know that's the worst time for the villagers to get attacked." And the best time for the fiends. "That's the bigger mystery, huh? Why they'd start attacking in the first place. Doesn't sound like the island's had to worry 'bout monsters in the past... did they really have to, before now?"
