Maru had been sitting on the barricade that had been built on the beach and just watching the goings on. Occasionally he would help. And as night fell he would help more, since he was able to become human and do that.
He was watching one person currently, just bashing away at sea creatures like it was their mission in life. What that person hadn't seen was the crab thing creeping up behind them.
Maru saw it. He almost didn't do anything... Until he heard a sweet voice in his head scolding him. Madoka would be unhappy with him if he didn't help. With a sigh, the Servamp fairly flew off of the barricade, launching himself into the sky toward the crab creature faster than it's scuttling legs could move it toward the person.
When he landed it was atop the crap with such force it's shell shattered. The creatures legs twitched and went still. Maru stood on it, hands in the pockets of his orange hoodie, looking bored with the whole ordeal.
