Maru wondered how many times this guy had been dropped on his head as a kid. Okay, so maybe as a cat he was cute. He did his very best to be that way, it seemed to make people happy if he was cat-like when a cat. But as a human? He'd only ever seemed to annoy people. No one had ever called him cute.
