He still doesn't know how to respond to Inigo when he says such things like that so he just smiles again and looks awkward. He hugs back tightly though when Inigo wraps his arms around him, as if he can keep him safe by the tightness of his hug.

"Of course..."

He doubts that any of the villagers will be wishing to be friends with him, he's always found friends difficult but Inigo is his friend and he's not going to forget that in a hurry.
