Maru watched the guy moving forward again and grumbled under his breath about people being the death of him, before he darted off of the barricade and followed the guy. He would get himself killed being tired and out there. So Maru trailed behind him, much like a cat, watching his every move.

Until the sea surged ahead of them and one of the shark headed creatures appeared. Maru had already decided he disliked these ones. He'd gotten caught by their claws before. And without Madoka he didn't have access to his own.

"This is so bothersome I could die..." He muttered unhappily, just before he ran around Glasses Man and launched himself at the shark head. Maybe he didn't have his claws, but he could still fight.
