Call it hypocritical - and it mostly definitely is, since Alice would tell some people the same thing just to be able to seem like she doesn't care even when she does - but she can't help but judge the person who told Allen that. Sure, Allen kind of seems like an idiot, mostly since he's so overly reckless when it comes to helping people, but he's not a bad person who deserves to be abandoned like that in a time of need.
