Inigo pulls his hand back once the contact is broken, though at the very least now he can actually look at Yuki when he talks. The blush is fading a bit, since the answer to this question is just a lot less awkward or embarrassing to talk about. It's something Inigo has already considered before, after all.

"Back in my world.. there's a gate that can connect to other worlds." Sure, it's mostly only connected to worlds similar to his own before, but Inigo just knows that if he'd ask Naga for it earnestly enough, surely she would help him cross over to a specific world. "I thought about it before, but I didn't want to bring it up since.."

There's a bit of a sad smile on his face.

"Well, like you said. 'We're nowhere close to that.' I know I like you a whole lot, but I was worried that I might pressure you by bringing this idea up, or that you'd think I was some sort of desperate idiot who was feeling much more for you than you might feel for me.." For a moment his gaze drops in shame. Inigo is well aware that his emotions are always so strong and so quick. He's always worried about liking others more than they could ever like him, just because his own move so fast. And Yuki is the last person he'd ever want to make uncomfortable because of that.

"But I.. I thought that once we'd go home, I could just.. you know. Use that gate to come over to your world. I know it might be awkward since I know nothing about your world, and I'll probably look like a fool trying to blend in, but.. all of that felt worth it to me at the thought that I could then keep being together with you."

It's then that he looks back up at Yuki, trying desperately to smile.

"Forgive me. I probably seem like quite the fool for liking you enough to want to do that, huh..?"
