Placing his hand next to Tony's on the lance, his gaze held the other's for a moment before unsummoning the Drain Lance. He then shook his head and reached a hand up to his neck. Snapping the thin black chain there, Ignis then held it out in his palm to the older man.

"I would like you to hold onto this for me temporarily. And know that you're not fighting alone."

He couldn't say that the chain with the black skull pendant on it was actually a way to tell Tony that he forgave him for what happened the other day. They were friends and Ignis wasn't abandoning him no matter what.
