With people out of the way, Fëanor doesn't waste time. The first wolf has fallen but it's rider leaps in his direction.

They'd be better off if they had bows. They could take out the wolves while they're still in the air and the fall would do the rest for the goblins. Since they don't, they must get rid of each of them personally.

The goblin jumps, both long daggers at the ready but he's met by a similar pair, just wielded with more strength and certainly more skill. Fëanor deflects the first blow and immediately follows with his own. The goblin doesn't even have time to notice what hit him.

That was just the first pair of this wave. Certainly, not the last. Already he can see more silhouettes descending from the sky. What worries him more though is that there are still people hiding in nearby buildings. He noticed a few braver heads peeking out, checking if the road is safe.

"How many people are still here?!"

They will hold the passage clear as long as it's needed so that all people can flee but Fëanor does wonder how stupid one must be to hold off their escape until the very last moment. Because that's not even stubborn, that's just plain stupid.
