"Hmm... maybe not electricity exactly. A lot of machines have some sort of grounding to keep them from being affected by that, but maybe there is something else that was being admitted that was interfering with the train."

Of course, since he hadn't been there, he didn't know what that could have been since he hadn't seen it for himself.
