Xue Yang saw the chaos around him and knew this fight was anything but won even as the squid retracted onto itself. Now that he is mostly healed thanks to Lightning, he rushes in again. He's never been afraid of being hit and honestly he'd like to be the one to slice this guy in two after the hit he just took.

He's been a fighter since he was a child and has always been one to know how to strike fast in order to take down as many opponents as he could before they even knew they were being attacked. He isn't going to let one gooey fish get the best of him, especially when he knows so many people are helping to divide it's attention. With agile steps, he avoids the tendrils and aims straight for the main body again. He intends to drag that sword straight from the bottom right to the top of the thing, using its own body and tendrils as his ladder.
