Xue Yang was slowly losing steam. He's done nothing but fight since arriving in this world and his arms are about exhausted from swinging the sword. But he knew the monster was in it's last efforts and so he was determined to enjoy one last hit on the thing that had gotten him thoroughly soaked in whatever the hell this goo was. He lunged, sliding along the slick ground to get directly beneath the body, staying as flat as possible to avoid all those swinging tendrils. As he reached the base of the beast, he intended to leap up into it and slice the thing to pieces from the inside out. He sucked in a breath and leaped, sword extended, leaving all caution to the wind. If he was going down, he was taking his jerk with him.
