Final: Purple
It has been a long and exhausting trek through the underwater caverns, even in the rare times they surfaced onto sandbanks they are attacked by creatures from the sea.
But eventually they arrive, one last water filled tunnel and a short climb they arrive in an large dry cave. In the centre there is a marble plinth. On the ground nearby there is a shell bowl, intact luckily but toppled off to the side.
Fighting
More pressing however are the two shark head beasts and uncountable number of crabs in the cavern. It seems, no matter how exhausted the voidtreckers are their fight is not yet over.
Preparing the chamber
Though the chamber doesn't have all that much in it, what there is is in a mess. There has been a concerted effort to wreck the place. Ripped tapestries cover the walls and there are candles, some smashed, some just toppled. The place smells strongly of a mix of different smells as if oils had been poured out, indeed there are empty and smashed bottles around.
At some point during this fight their SCA's glow and through them they may hear some familiar voices. It seems there is more to do than just fight crabs and indeed clearing this mess might not be able to wait until the battle is over!
Clear the chamber and set things to rights! Whilst also fighting off an army of crabs!

He'd already sacrificed his last spear, so he only had one thing to distract it. Himself. "Hey!" He called out to the sharkbear, and held up his hand which was also glowing, brighter and brighter. "Over here, Mark!"

This leaves the bearshark immobilized - and directly in Cassie's line.
She uncoils her body and surges forward, a green streak trailing behind her as her boot connects with her target...and then goes through to the other side, leaving a boot-shaped hole from the base of its spine to...well, a place where there already was a hole.
This leaves Cassie's foot caught in the body of an angry, twitching, rapidly dying monster as blood and...certain other bodily content floods all over it.
"Oh, this is NOT gonna smell good."

He was sure she was more than capable of extricating her foot herself, but it was an awkward position, and having fought by her side, he now considered her a friend.

"Not really a 'my lady' type."
Beat.
"I sure as shit don't smell like a lady right now."
no subject
"Is this a good time to mention that we will have plenty of water to clean up in on the way back to the village?" he offered with a grin. "My lady?"
[She just doesn't know the kinds of ladies he hangs out with. He could totally see Galadriel doing what she just did.]

"Smartass."
She tosses him one of her tonfas.
"In the meantime, we've still got one more bearshark to deal with. Use that if he gets close."

She doubts he's specifically trained in how to use it - how to swivel it from the forearm to a forward position as you strike, to both block an opponent's strike and hit harder than you would normally. But frankly, just grabbing it by the long end should work well enough.
"I mean, if it worked once."
[Elves can totally parkour, I use Legolas as proof.]
They can also skateboard (cf Helm's Deep)
"Hey, Fangface! Yeah, I'm talkin' to you, you fat furry fuck!"
She stomps her right foot on the ground, letting green energy surge through her feet. Dust and rocks kick up into the air beside her.
Then she does it again, and again. It looks a little like something she learned watching wrestling with her dad.
Elves have many talents. Like Oliphant surfing!

The bearshark bellows and grasps at its ruined eye socket. But it is already moving much too fast to stop. It stumbles and lunges forward at a running pace, throwing its head and free arm out in a vain attempt to balance itself.
Cassie waits until it's nearly on top of her before she makes her move. This time her foot surges up toward its jaws, sending herself flipping back to safety as she does. Her boot connects directly with where its chin would be if it had one.
Best bring an umbrella. The forecast calls for shark heads.

"Glad I had my helmet on."
no subject
Yeah, Cassie hasn't let that one go yet. Even as she flicks a bit of grey matter out of her hair.
"Speaking of cleaning up messes, how d'you think the priests coming along?"
no subject
Glorfindel looked over to where the priests and some of their team members were cleaning up the mess and getting ready for whatever their ritual was going to be. "Looks good. We just have to keep that space clear now and wait, I suppose."
no subject
"We should stick close to them in case they want something more specific from us than that."

no subject
"That works, too. Probably shouldn't forget the missing head, either."
The way he seems to naturally take charge, Cassie guesses Glorfindel must be a leader or commander back home. Certainly he'd make a good officer in her own universe.

He looked over the beast in front of them as he put away his sword. He'd already wiped it clean, of course, as well as the tonfa. "Thank you for the loan," he said handing it back. Then he bent down and picked up the shark tail and started dragging the thing. While elves were stronger than they looked, the dead monster was rather heavy.
no subject
"This looks like a two-person job."
no subject
"How about up against that wall over there," he asked, pointing with his chin. It was near the entrance, so away from the altar, yet out of the way.
no subject
She takes a last glance at the beast before beginning her way back toward the other one.
no subject
" You have military training?" He asked, following her to the other former m9nster.
no subject
She grabs this one by the shoulders. Some of the oozing has subsided from where its head used to be, but she figures it might as well be her who grabs the messy end. In for a penny, in for a pound.
"You seem like you're an officer yourself."
