"Hey, Joss!" says Curufin, as he walks down the beach and spots Joscelin sheltering under the umbrella. Curufin is wearing an outfit given to him as a gift by Tony, black jeans, black leather lace-up boots, and a black denim jacket. He's added a brightly colored t-shirt to that, one he picked out of the train's beach clothing collection. He does not care to swim just now. He and Orange Team have just spent days in the water, and that's enough.

He notices that Joss is covered up. He knows that Joss used to be a vampire, because someone told him that recently, and they implied that Joss is a vampire no longer. Curufin isn't troubled by that now, and wouldn't have been earlier, having met so many strange and wondrous people in his travels outside of his own world.
