"Oh..." He looked at the guy, then the chip and back again. For a moment there was a real fear within Maru that the guy had put something on the chip to kill him off. But then he realised the guy probably wouldn't do that. He wouldn't hurt his daughter like that. At least... Maru hoped he wouldn't.

Slowly, clearly not quite ready to be moving, Maru tried to ease himself up. He didn't get far before he fell back down again with a soft sound of pain. Nope. Sitting up was not going to work for at least another few hours. He sighed. "... Maybe later." He said sadly.
