The moment broken, the tension bled quickly from the air, and 47 went back to doing what he was doing. An escape he didn't even realize he needed, much less wanted.

Her words hung in his head though. How many people had he let down in the past? There was a reason he didn't get involved with other people or stick around an area for longer than necessary to complete a job. He was always on the move, never in one place for too long, no attachments or getting to know people outside of business, and there was always another job. If he didn't stay on mission, then there was nothing for him in life. It had already been proven to him that a normal life was not for him.

He was only capable of death and destruction and anyone in his life was destined to follow that same path.

Could he really afford that here on this damned train?

"Don't," he began with an unusual amount of bite to the word, "make promises you can't keep."

With that out in the air, 47 moved away to another table to work on other food stuffs, his back to Lightning as she gathered her food.
