If there's consequences we're not seeing, how would we know they were tied to the problem here, too?"
And - the thought she'd had since conversing with the native teens of this world but kept pushing away - what if there were more of those corrupting beings? Would the locals have a better time defending against them, or would the Voidtreckers be coming back here in the future?
