She was waiting for him to show he was okay to eat, so Maru stretched out a hand to take some of it and pulled it closer. It did hurt to move too much, but if he kept one arm wrapped around his middle and used his other to eat it seemed to go fine.

At least he was able to eat something. Just not as much as he would have normally. In fact very little. Maru gave a little shake of his head and sighed.

"I think I need sleep more than food..."
