Tony's frown deepened, but he continued to gently pet the kitty's head. There was a slight pause though when he heard the cat's answer.

"A sand monster? Are you nuts?" Despite the words, the tone was still mildly warm. To soften the blow even further, he gave his chin a very light scratch. "You could've gotten yourself killed." He sighed and shook his head. "How big of a distraction could you have even made?"
