She found the sand under her feat and stood, embarrassed at how badly she had done as she tried to stand still in he waves buffeting her about.
The ocean was stupid, that much was for sure. Maybe that was the real reason no one had ever taught her how to swim. Swimming was a stupid activity.
Still she doesn't scowl, not when he is watching her. Instead she obeys, holding her hands out, one on top of the other, fingers pressed together.
