I’m going to add on to this. Whatever happened to the Terrans in the lab, I’m thinking the monsters were definitely involved. Room six on the first below ground floor has some sort of four pillar setup with a computer, but one of the pillars appears to have fallen over and the computer screen is smashed. It was also still kind of smoking when I found it.

That combined with what’s been said about the lights and monsters, isn’t good, at least by the looks of it.
