Onward: Purple
Rescue Efforts
Progress has been good, with many of the trapped citizens now rescued and parts of the city put to rights. There are only a couple of pockets of trapped people remaining, where it is proving difficult structurally to clear the tunnels. Even so, spirits are high; it’s believed they’ll be able to do so with the Voidtreckers’ assistance.
Work is still done in shifts and continues through the night. Voidtreckers are encouraged to rest after their shifts, and stagger themselves. It’s likely that there’s a mix of people awake and asleep as the sun rises on the third day.
Dawn Attack
Not long after dawn many of the Terran phones begin ringing with notifications and alarms, and there is a general wave of panic that spreads through the adult Terran. Followed by a rush of activity, as those asleep are quickly shaken awake to get ready.
It won’t take long, they’re told. There has been an attack. Not here, but in another segment of the city. Unknown forces, monstrosities of some kind coming down the service tunnels. Forces are holding them off but they need backup. Transport is quickly arranged and any Voidtreckers who wish to go and help can do so.
Transport is a train, one that is sourced incredibly quickly and filled with combat-ready Terran civilians. Not all go, since people are still needed to finish the rescue efforts and prepare for any attack in this sector.
Those that do go will find a battle raging between Terran and monsters. It may be that shortly after the Voidtreckers and their Terran friends turn up they will be joined by some more adventurous members of Orange Team who followed the monsters down the tunnels.
Days of Fighting
Throughout the next few days (G7-G11), fights spring up around the city. Though the first fight was against monsters from the lab, it seems others have found ways of getting into the tunnel system. The Terran are practical and quickly set up systems of transport for quick response. They don’t have much in the way of lights; their own decorative lights are soft, which will drive the creatures back from illuminated areas but be unable to destroy them.
They will happily accept as much help as the Voidtreckers can give. The fighting is lessened as the day goes on, as no new monsters enter the tunnels, but sunset brings fresh recruits.
For those who cannot or do not wish to fight there is plenty that needs doing. Centres are set up for the injured. Fighters need food and water. There are still collapsed tunnels that need repaired and cleaned up. The final trapped citizens need to be brought to safety. Children need to be watched and kept out of danger.
A Rumour
Talking of children, as the days go by the Terran teenagers get more and more agitated. A few times they can be seen trying to approach exhausted and stressed adults, mobile phones in their hands as they try and explain something.
They are quickly dismissed. If asked about it the teenagers will tell literally anyone who listens that they think the monsters are going after The Dweller. They will distractedly explain that it is some lifeform within the planet that ‘those Gry’ worship as a god.
‘Those Gry’ are their primary source of information, in fact, and most of their evidence seems to be coming from dream interpretation forums. Probably why they aren’t getting taken seriously by their stressed parents.

One Round of Healing Incoming! OTA
After some talking over the SCA comms and some shuffling around through teleportation, Reno ended up in the midst of Purple Team--right where he had avoided going in the first place, go figure. With some more coordination with Roland and the Terrans he summoned Carbuncle for a mass heal on the majority of those worn out from fighting the initial attack.
For the rest of the day he worked on individual healing, whether it was running around finding the rest of Purple Team's members to heal while they rested up or continued to work on the rescue efforts, or even healing up the injured Terrans themselves as they were brought to safer areas. By the end of the day he was mostly in one place though, waiting for people to come to him as the magic began to take its toll on him and his reserves were wearing thin. He was trying not to waste the Elixir(s) Tidus gave him when he left Red Team behind but he might have to cave if the number of injured kept steadily heading his way.
[[He can run up to your character and ask if they need some healing, or your character can come up to him and ask for healing! Either way. Or bring up Terrans for him to heal. Or bother him with something else! He probably won't be sticking around so catch-up with him while ya can.]]
Re: One Round of Healing Incoming! OTA
He helped the Terran sit down and then went to help the others. Even the other attendants were the walking wounded. His minor healing powers were enough to keep them going, but took a lot longer to make a difference than what Reno was dishing out and he was most grateful that Amra brought him, even for a little while.

The redhead turned his attention to Glorfindel. "Yeah, yeah. Guess I shoulda stuck with Purple again." But in his mind he was already contemplating how long this would take so he could skip out and head to another team's position after this. Except he looked like he was in for a long haul here.
He called out to Glor as the elf started to walk away. "Wait, what about you? You got any injuries, Sunshine?"
no subject
He turned back and gave Reno a grin. "I am the Light, Reno. They haven't been able to touch me." He only went dark long enough to get right amongst the monsters, and the Terrans were very careful not to let any close to him during that time. Which was why at least three were hurt, for which he felt guilty.

While the elf did that, Reno tended to the current crop of civvies. He cast low level spells on most injuries that weren't life threatening to keep his magic power from waning too quickly. With a little extra focus on specific injuries he could heal most with just that little spell anyway. He moved between the injured with haste so he could get to each while he was here.

Oh no.
Inigo has been pretty good at just plainly avoiding Reno. Which is hard, considering they're on a train with limited space and with how many people tend to gather in certain areas like the dining carriage. He's made sure not to get near the other since he knows it'd just end badly.
And yet here Reno is. Suddenly. Because Inigo is 100% sure that the other wasn't among the purple group before, and he was rather glad for it. But nope, somehow he's here all the same and.. healing some injured Terrans? What even?
Look, Inigo already wasn't planning on asking for healing despite a visible cut on his face, since he figures that he can just tough it all out. But seeing Reno being the healer out there makes him even less likely to do so. So he's just going to sit here and glare at Reno from a distance. He's being incredibly unsubtle about it too.

The redhead looked around after healing a Terran and narrowed his gaze as he saw Inigo. He began to saunter that way with a lazy gait.
"Yo! Look like you could use a little pick-me-up. First one's free," the redhead said with a 'generous' smile.
no subject
But it's the question that really puzzles Inigo's brain. He's still frowning in a glare, but there's something like surprise or confusion on the edges of it.
"Why are you doing this?"
Said in the most suspicious tone possible, because he doesn't trust Reno as far as he could throw the other guy. There's no way Reno is really going around healing people after what he told Inigo before.
no subject
But he's being cheekily amiable for the moment, keeping a bright smile on his face and a glint to his eye. It might have comforted an oblivious person but it might also have worried someone with a little perception. Exactly how Reno liked to look at any given moment. He probably thought it was charming in a bad boy sort of way.
"What do you mean 'why'? Why wouldn't I? It's part of the mission and I have the means. If someone's gotta do it to keep this mission from falling apart it might as well be someone with the capacity to do it right."
no subject
The bridge of his nose wrinkles up into something that can't be described as anything but a pout. Especially at the sight of that twinkle in Reno's eyes. Inigo is so convinced the other must be up to something, and he isn't about to be the butt of that joke.
"You don't remember what we talked about before? Back then you didn't exactly sound like a guy who'd go out of his way to be nice. It's not like this mission directly started you have to heal anyone, you know."
no subject
Reno put one hand on his hip. "I could just decide not to do the mission at all," he countered with a sassy lean forward, using all his body to convey his language, and then straightened back out with a short chuckle. "It's not exactly enforced. But that's not the point. The point is a Turk always gets the job done, no matter what and by any means possible."
He pointed to Inigo with his free hand. "You seem to forget that I'm not above using a few pawns to get it finished. The more the better." He let out another laugh, completely playing up the villain angle he had going with this guy. He found it so amusing.
no subject
But he can still most certainly glare up at Reno. It's so obvious what he thinks of the other - it's visible in his eyes.
"You're so despicable." Nothing could be worse to Inigo than someone who just doesn't think about the wellbeing of others at all. "It would honestly be better if you didn't join in on these missions. You're most likely just making things worse."
no subject
"Oh? You think all these healing spells I'm handing out are making things worse here? All right. Guess I better stop patching people up and go on my merry way." He said as he looked away with his nose turned up high.
"Starting...with...you," he said as a green glow surrounded his body briefly. It faded as the healing spell broke out over Inigo and healed the angry young man. There was a sly smile on his face as he glanced at Inigo out of the corner of his eye. "Oops. Did I make things worse for you? My bad."
no subject
And yet, even as the healing Reno is using doesn't feel that strange, Inigo lets out a startled sound anyway. As if he suspects that Reno might be doing something other than healing here. Who knows what this guy is capable of!
So he quickly raises his hands to his face, feeling for the cut, only to realise it's gone.
.. Guess it really was a healing spell. Not that it stops Inigo from glaring at the other all the same though.
"Did you just heal me?" He almost says it as if it's something to get offended at.. But look, anything is something to get offended at when it's coming from Reno, okay!
no subject
"You could try sounding a little grateful, yo. It's not like it doesn't drain my energy or anything." He tried to sound indignant but honestly he was still too amused to fully pull off the demeanor. It was hard to keep the grin off his face, too.
no subject
It's not like Reno is entirely in the wrong here. He did heal Inigo, and honestly, if it had been anything else Inigo would have been grateful, even though he still would have insisted he was fine without it..
But he's going to find fault with anything Reno does. Because it's Reno.
"I can't imagine it drains your energy a whole lot, or a selfish guy like you just wouldn't bother."
no subject
He laughed at his own stupid joke, unable to keep up the facade for too long.
He wagged a finger at Inigo. "Still not getting it. It's the job! I'm on a mission. Gonna go at it till I drop." A beat and then he added, "Even if it means healing dumbasses like you who can't look after themselves properly."
no subject
Inigo glares up at him for another moment before standing up, grabbing his sword that was lying next to him. It's not in any remotely threatening way though - he's actually just letting it hang near his side because he doesn't want to leave it behind.
"I get that you're a jerk. And that you don't make any sense at all." Or not any sense in Inigo's view of the world. "Have fun bothering someone else."
And with that he just turns to walk away.
