Tidus watches Roland with a frown, though it hasn't much left his face since this turn in their interaction. But that sock sure doesn't help it any, bringing back up that annoyance of this situation (really, this guy was the more stubborn one...), and Roland's question not changing it to anything but with a quizzical turn.

"Is this about to turn into a lecture?" He asks instead of answering, leaning back into his seat. The thought about food or drink put aside, even nearly forgotten if not for the dry patch in his throat. "Doesn't sound like something that counts here."

But for his preemptive assumption, he's still listening.
