He stays with his back half on the cushioned seating, arms folded across his abdomen. Thin-lipped, but the features of his face only hard in a listening way than by any bite being carried behind his mouth.
It helps, that that first part isn't all of it. That it's a lead up--a long lead up, and is this how Auron would've been if he spoke more? ...nah, it explains too much--to a point, and the dip of his brow becomes easier for it. Complicated, not satisfied, but something better than what it could be. A small silence following Roland's words before Tidus sighs, the sort that heaves in his chest and shakes his shoulders.

Because he recalls when Roland brought up about his exhaustion before, what Roland was focusing on--what he saw, would remember--than what he hadn't. Still. But it's a still that's rather pointless now. "I get where you're coming from--you said you're a bigshot adviser, you have to make the tough decisions. You're used to thinking your way," is what he really means, since being some bigshot adviser shouldn't have to equal self-sacrificing, in Tidus's books.

"Just...ask! Don't be so stiff in the future! I dunno about other magic users, but my magic just stops coming out if I'm too tired. So just-" he rolls a hand this time "-relax a lil'. Open up. It's not that serious. You get it?"
