Rapunzel couldn't help but linger a bit on what went wrong and how maybe she could have changed things if she had the chance to again. But at the same time she knew lingering and thinking like that wasn't exactly a great idea either. it didn't make people happy, it just made them worried and to try and cheer her up when she would rather it be the other way.
