Honestly, Roland is on to something here. It's very likely Gerome wouldn't trust him right away, or even after a while.. But Inigo is just thinking a tad more positively about it than actual reality, considering he is so fond of Roland, and he can't imagine anyone not feeling the same around the other guy. Everything about him is just so wholesome and welcoming.

"I know," he answers to the advice, a little softer than before. "I'll remember."

But he's not so sure whether he can actually follow it. Second-guessing his bonds with the people close to him is just way too ingrained in his brain for him to stop doing it. At this point it might almost feels strange to not be thinking every minute about how much more invested he may be in any bond than the other person actually is.

For now he pushes the feeling down though, instead focusing back on Roland.

"You should try to see if you can stand a bit more easily now. Though you should still take it easy with walking. You don't want those stitches to come undone."
