Gerome is hitting the nail right on the head. Inigo is definitely tired. He's already tired enough of all the work they regularly did on the mission, but then that last day.. it really escalated things, didn't it. His nerves have been so frayed all day from how worked up he got at seeing Gerome buried under those rocks, and even now he's sure Gerome will be okay, it still feels hard to fully calm down. Maybe it's leftover paranoia from the awful situation back home in their future.. But it really does feel like something could happen to Gerome at any minute. As if Inigo could still somehow really lose him.
And it shows on Inigo's face too. He may have tried to smile earlier and stay strong, but that's a lot harder now. Maybe since it's just the two of them, or maybe since he's at the end of his rope.. But rather than being able to smile off the suggestion, Inigo just looks like a reluctant child in front of Gerome.
"I'm.. I'm fine," he says, and it's nowhere near convincing. Even to someone who wouldn't be able to read Inigo very well. "If anything, you should be resting. I'm sure your body needs it to fully recover."
