Gerome was quiet for a moment, not particularly liking the way that Inigo's head lowered like that, nor his tone. While he was glad to not have to argue a point of logic, he didn't like that it came at the cost of... something. He couldn't work it out. If he had to, he would have said it was like a scolded dog slinking off back to it's bed for disappointing it's master. Except Gerome hadn't scolded him. And he hadn't been disappointed. So now he was very confused about... well... everything.
So he was quiet when Inigo spoke, and quiet for a moment or two after, just trying to work it through his head how best to reply that didn't make this worse...
