Roland nods at Inigo with a grateful smile. "I've already asked so much of you. Thank you. I'll try and make this trip easier for you." And he's nothing if not true to his word. There is a kindness that radiates from Inigo that Roland knows well, gravitates towards like a moth to a flame. He is soft and gentle but at the same time, as Roland glances subtly at the young man's profile while they walk to the cabin, there is hardiness to his visage. Jaw always clenched, a spirit of weariness that follows him wherever he goes. His penchant for smiling first, even though his tears seem to flow easily.
A lot goes on in Roland's mind, but most of all, he knows he is tired. And he knows Inigo is too. So in the silence, as they reach the halfway mark just closing in on the entrance to the greenhouse car, Roland speaks softly.
"Don't get up early tomorrow. You should just take it easy for the next couple of days, alright?" He seems casual about it, but in truth there is worry laced underneath the words. "If you've got chores, I'll handle it." Nevermind his healing wound. He's not even thinking of that. This was the least he could do.
