Inigo lets out a startled yelp the moment Gerome turns him around like that. It's hard to tell what exactly startles him the most here - the physical act of being turned around, or suddenly being scolded like that by the other. Maybe it's both. It's not hard to startle Inigo in general, after all, and it only gets easier and easier to do so as the other is way too caught up in his own thoughts - like a moment ago.

His face is bright red, though it's not awkwardness as much as it's shame now. How can he bask in the thought that Gerome actively wants him to come back and nap together with him when he's being told to take a shower like he's some sort of pig?

"G-- Geez, Gerome!" There's no anger in his voice. Definitely only embarrassment. "C.. Couldn't you at least tell me.. you know! A bit more gently?"

He's a delicate boy! He has to be treated delicately!

"But.. f-fine, I'll go do that. Don't fall asleep without me!"

Inigo actually does walk out of the room after saying that, but a moment later he's already sticking his head around the corner once more.

".. unless you're really tired and you need it, because I don't want to keep you up.. And you got hurt really badly, so I'd understand-- so.. erm, just do whatever you want to do! I'll be back soon regardless..!" Yes, he's just rambling out of sheer embarrassment now.
