Daia can't help but blush as Glorfindel smiles at him.

"I'm glad, too!" he returns. "That you're safe, I mean."

He closes his eyes for a second, with a deep breath. You miss out on the chances you don't take. And he opens his eyes again.

"I..." Ooh boy, this is harder than he thought. But he's determined. He looks up at Glorfindel. "I like you. A lot. I'm... I think I'm in love with you."

He can hear his heart pound in his ears as he confesses. But, whatever happens next, he did his best.
