[Xue Yang looks over when someone new enters the hot spring. He certainly doesn't mind others using the hot spring and he can avoid talking if he so chooses. He doesn't recognize the man but that isn't all that surprising. He hasn't met a lot of people, particularly if they arrived after his very public torture. He figures most people chose to avoid him now that they know his past but since this one doesn't seem to be interested in avoiding then perhaps he is unaware.
But he has also made his mission to change his ways and that involves opening himself to meeting new people and not having so much anger and hate in his heart. And so perhaps this is the test he needs to see how much progress he can make.
