She watched, impressed and nodded. No opening her eyes. She grinned at him and plunged down, hands reaching out to find the sand below.

She had remembered to take a breath but water poured into her nose, making her cough, all the air escaping. Her limbs flailed as her head hurt and water got in her mouth and nose.
