"Sounds beautiful..." But Gladio looked up into the branches of the tree with a critical eye. He didn't think he'd be able to make it up there, and the fear of falling out would have stopped him cold. But if Glorfindel was happy up there, then he was happy for the guy.
"My home... isn't there anymore." Gladio replied, not quite looking at the other. "But when it was, it was a huge, sprawling walled city, protected by a domed shield powered by the King himself. It was... a beautiful place. Old and new, the Citadel towering over it all." He chuckled softly and tilted his head to look over at Glorfindel. "Really different from a world in the trees."
