Inigo can slowly feel a blush creeping up on his cheeks. Even without that hint in Gerome's voice, Inigo would still feel like he was being teased here.. which isn't too great of a feeling, considering how serious his concern is.
Not that he gets mad though. Gerome doesn't know. He obviously doesn't know, because if the other had seen - no, lived, it felt like - what Inigo had, there's no way it wouldn't immediately come to mind.
So.. what is it? Is he just going crazy? It's tempting to hide it, but something about the crushing feeling of loneliness in his chest makes him speak before he thinks.

Why else would he be seeing awful things that no one else apparently has? His voice sounds so tiny compared to the usual, and he can't directly look at Gerome as he says it.
