Apparently the movement of Tidus's arm like that is reassuring - or at the very least, Inigo sure does react to it. It takes a moment, almost as if the fact that Tidus is pulling him closer has to be processed by Inigo's brain first.. but the moment he realises it's what's going on, Inigo starts to lean more against him. In fact, it's almost as if he's burying himself against Tidus's side, like he's seeking comfort and a sense of safety there, their heads almost touching.
"Don't get grumpy," he mumbles. It's soft, but definitely audible with how close the two of them are right now. "It doesn't suit you. I like you best when you're smiling.."
Because whenever Tidus smiles or laughs, it always feels so genuine. And warm. The other is just so bright during those moments. Sure, with the way they usually mess around it's much more likely for him to see huffy Tidus, or pouty Tidus, or complaining Tidus, but it makes the moments when he sees Tidus smile feel even more like basking in the sun.
Inigo lets out a slow breath, one hand reaching up to rub at his puffy eyes as he speaks on.
".. I've never really done this before. Just.. sitting, and thinking.. I don't like where my thoughts go, so I've always forced myself to get back up on my feet and do something."
