Turning his head toward the mountain though, where some of the other Trekkers could be seen in the distance, he dropped the glasses, then put them back on. "Huh. Some of our fellows are very bright indeed, aren't they?" Now he wondered how he looked, and if they could be used to judge his progress as he got stronger.
He handed them back. "Those are quite impressive. Wish I'd thought of it," he said with an admiring grin.
