Like considering the usefulness of certain carriages, or even the train as a whole.. Not that it's very surprising to Alice. She's used to randomness, to chaos, more than to order. It's why she doesn't even sound annoyed, more like she's just talking about facts.
"Like how it could easily make some carriages two stories, so it doesn't take quite as long to move from one end of the train to another. Yet it only seems to do that occasionally. I don't think it has a very practical mind."
