Tidus is happy down here, thanks. He's never been in waters this warm and his head felt dizzy even before how quickly he submerged himself with little more than a gulp of air, but it doesn't mean he's going to pay attention to any discomfort his body is signalling to him. He's good at that: blitzball was more than just holding one's breath. It was about operating under stress, under pain. It was an endurance built through hard work.
And while this was not the typical situation that played out during blitz games--an old guy you kinda respect like walking in while your best guy friend around accidentally makes his appreciation of your physique sound a little gay--it was a challenge all the same. And Tidus wasn't about to give in so easy.
