Piccolo took a step back once he was released and awkwardly stood there, attempting to regain his stoic demeanor without losing too much face. He nodded at her final words.

"I will." In his own way at least. "You enjoy the time here, too." He smiled faintly at her before taking another step back. He waited another small moment and then he finally flew away to go explore the island and find a way to have his version of fun.
