It's kind of nice to listen to these stories. Even though it's a long, long time ago for Inigo at this point - and the years between only felt longer through their monotony and yet sheer awfulness at the same time - he does remember his childhood. He does remember growing up in ths palace, and despite Taiki talking about an entirely different palace, it still feels like remembering stories about the same one with a dear friend.

So he keeps smiling.

"Did you use the shortcuts a lot? I can imagine you being all sneaky!"
