'Tidus, step back!' It's a call that catches him off-guard to hear, if only by the voice carrying the warning. Tidus follows it without delay, instinctively, hearing it too many times during battles to ignore; but on ground like this, more sludge than firm, he's wobbling to keep his footing after.

It's a balancing act that doesn't, however, distract him from the scene: the arrow more of a beam of light as it goes shooting off at the wolves, sending them back and stunned. Tidus knows who it's come from, but he doesn't take the time to confirm. The more hardy-skinned dogs are jumping, circling to get to them--no time for pause. A hand clenches tight and a whirl of energy and wind bursts about him, and he throws it out where he sees them darting off to. A large bubbling of water surrounds and catches two of the dogs in its sphere, then explodes out, chucking the canines down and out of the show.

And Tidus is already building up another, smaller one to deal with the one that'd managed to run out of its range, if being caught on the tail-end of it, but quickly recovering. The sounds of other battles around them, their teammates also dealing with the trouble.
