Roland reacts appropriately to it, his own smile fading until he looks upon Tidus with a neutral expression, trying his best to hide that glint of concern. At the very least, he's glad Lightning will be keeping an eye on him.
He decides then and there that losing someone the way that he did, and what he did in retaliation, was going to be a lot harder to bounce back from than just sleeping it off. So Roland, with as much understanding as one could afford and then some, tones his own energy down and shakes his head, showing Tidus his Arms Band that was now wrapped around his finger as a ring.
"Yeah, I figured. The day you stay with Purple is the day I'll probably step down from office myself." He remarks casually. "Good. Lend them your aid when you can. Be aware of the teleportation issue too. I don't know how that's going to affect Spider Seamstress, but it's best to stay on guard given it'll be harder to play Black Squad with these circumstances. Do you have the right gear for that kind of weather?"

"I'm fine. Purple is going to be based around six villages, so I won't have to use up too much of our own resources this time around. I've got myself covered with basics for a little over a week." Breads, some rice, potions, and drinks. Nothing fancy. He doesn't need it. "The rest, I can scavenge and procure on ground." He crosses his arms over his chest. "Red and Blue need to stay on top of quality supplies and meals most of all. They'll be away from the villages."
