A small frown danced on Piccolo's face as they continued on in silence. In part he was considering Tidus's unusual behavior. So quiet and demure, not at all like his usual boisterous self. It was worrisome. But also in part because he kept getting snippets of unusual ki brushing up against his senses. It distracted him from his other thoughts and he continuously searched the horizon for the source of the energy, eyes darting from place to place.
It wasn't until one of the signatures grew closer, however, that Piccolo finally spoke out about it. "There's something out there," he announced quietly. He wanted to warn Tidus but not necessarily bring everyone else's attention to his suspicions. He nodded to a snow storm that a moment ago had barely been noticeable on the edge of the snowy view of the horizon but now it seemed much closer suddenly.
