Wei Wuxian had his eyes closed tightly, hiding behind Lan Zhan, as dogs terrified him, but he didn't have to pretend to be helpless. He might have summoned more resentful energy than he really needed though, which meant some was coiling around him and other wisps were checking out some of the other team members.

Hearing Alfred's voice though made him open his eyes and notice what his fear had summoned. The music turned a little more gentle and some of the extra wisps started to fade away.
