"Yeah, for one thing everything I knew is completely gone, nature has overrun the world, of course. That's to be expected. The villagers are descendants from the six astronauts that had been on the International Space Station at the time, and so they've continued to have descendants since then. A lot has changed. Population is strictly managed through, well, nature. Food insecurity in a gathering society is pretty high and I would bet other things like childbirth and accidents kill younger people than it might otherwise." Senku hummed.

"Based on historical data, of course, so things like reading and math don't have much of a place in their way of life, or it didn't. My evolving technology is making it a necessity again. So it's interesting in that way."
