His face resumes its usual stoic expression. He felt relief beneath that calm despite his appearance. He shook his head at her as if to say 'no' to something she said.

"I'm glad you're all right. If you fell..." well, he doesn't finish the sentence. Least to say he wouldn't be happy with the outcome.

That is, if he wasn't around the outcome would be unacceptable. With him here he has the chance to catch and save her. That was good.

He held out his hand towards her to see if she would take it (again) to steady herself. "It's all right if you need help."

He could fly her, of course, but she had started this endeavor and he wouldn't blatantly take it away from her at this point. But he would offer to help because he wanted to keep her safe.
