It certainly looked that way...at least until the troll lifted its club, and revealed that, other than a shallow crater in the ground, there was no sign of Kitty there.

As the troll held its club up to look around for its victim in confusion, Kitty suddenly peeked out slightly from the club, phasing herself part of the way out of it.
