The spell does wonders as Roland practically flies into motion, his legs carrying him swiftly into a rush of strikes on the first troll he encounters. He silently thanks Tidus for the boost, but he isn't allowed to linger long on that thought. The troll blocks him easily with giant, beefy arms scaled and mutated. He holds out for a moment, trying to strongarm the troll with the widest part of his sword, but it's the troll in the middle that he has to watch out for; blighted with uncontrollable rage. Its roar is deafening up close, but its the wide, downwards arc of his club that alerts Roland to move, move, move! He breaks the parlay between the troll that absorbs his first set of attacks and jumps in the nick of time, backwards into a crouch with his free hand grazing the rocky ground to help him keep steady.
Unfortunately, he has little room to get his bearings. He cringes in mild frustration as all three now attempt to crowd him, the ground shaking with the force of their combined stampede. Their bodies block his view from Tidus, cutting off visual communication. But in the window of time he has left, Roland throws his voice over, hoping the teen was close enough to hear him between the foot falls of giants and the distance between them.
"Get them from behind!" He shouts steadily, though his body is already beginning to glow again, charging up for a move in preparation for whatever will come.
